Liberty Academy Trust, in partnership with Best Practice Network, is offering the Autism Support Practitioner Apprenticeship—designed to develop teaching assistants and support staff into specialists in autism practice.

Built on the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant standard, the programme equips practitioners with a deeper understanding of autism, including sensory processing, communication differences, and behaviour as communication.

Through evidence-informed practice, participants can gain the skills and confidence to adapt environments, personalise support, remove barriers to learning, and promote meaningful inclusion for autistic pupils across educational settings.
